Today we played by the river

The river was here before us. The current carries away all that enters,
my gaze with it.
The horns of a yak skull break the surface.
I noticed it while getting drinking water for the family.
Many animals seem to die nearby.
I like to think the river helps a soul find its way.
Without the river we cannot stay here.
Nothing can.

この川がなければ、私たちはここに留まることができない。
